One of the best QBs in the country continued to showcase his dual-threat abilities in game 1 of the season, leading the Bobcats’ offense to a 50-burger. Bentley picked apart the Bellville defense with both his arm and legs, showcasing his deep ball touch and acceleration out of the pocket. He should be in store for another statistically dominant season, already compiling 2 touchdowns, both passing and rushing. After a 65-yard rocket down the sideline on a free play on the first drive, there was no turning back for Bowe and his Bobcats. The future Sooner will step out for their home opener against La Vega this Friday.

One of the top signal-callers in the entire country, Bentley is a dynamic dual-threat QB that can shred defenses at all levels. The leader of the state champion Bobcats’ offense thrives at changing arm angles and delivering passes into tight windows with touch or velocity. Bowe has a great sense for the flow of the game, consistently deciphering when to step up in the pocket, roll out, or take off downfield for 6. He is a true threat out of the backfield, with smooth strides and solid overall speed. Bentley’s accuracy and arm strength when throwing off his back foot are remarkable, allowing him to extend plays and open up new passing lanes. It will be tough to outdo an undefeated season that included over 4,200 total yards and 63 touchdowns, but expect the Oklahoma Sooner commit to dominate again during his senior campaign.

Bentley didn’t stand out to me on night one but was a top performer in the Pro Day and Accuracy Challenge on night two. He carried that performance into the 7-on-7 period with a strong performance.
Bentley goes through his progressions well and can trick defenders with his eyes. He has the arm strength to connect on out routes from the far hash and has some zip on the intermediate throws.

Bentley wasn’t high on my radar on night one but looked good in the moments I saw him. He scored a 45 in the Pro Day portion and throws well on the run.
