Boden is a 2027 wide receiver out of Hamlin that I had yet to get a live eval on, but with what he showed off in the live eval at the SDSU Prospect Camp on Monday, I surely feel even more that he’s a sleeper that is one that we have high on our board as WR3 in the 2027 South Dakota class. He was one of the more eye-catching Dakotas wide receivers in attendance off the eye test and that wasn’t all. He showed off some of the better hands I watched out of the wide receiver group and caught just about everything that was thrown way, regardless if the throw was on line or he had to adjust with his ball-tracking ability. He’s got just one basketball offer thus far, but what surprises me is no football offers at the moment. Surely a hidden gem to know in our 2027 class.

It seems like every other year, the Hamlin Chargers are gifted with an XL wide receiver that is the playmaker to there offense as this year, you insert wide receiver Boden Stevenson Boden Stevenson 6'4" | 185 lbs | WR Hamlin | 2027 State SD to the mix. The 6’4 185 pounder is a tough one to catch in the open field with having great length from top to bottom at his disposal. Boden has some of the best hands you will see in the state in tight windows as he excels quite naturally and consistently in high-traffic areas. He looks like a sure-fire FCS talent with good upside left to prove into summer camps and into his senior season.
