is a complete tight end with the versatility to make an impact in the running and passing game. He excels after the catch with good field vision and athleticism. His fluidity and lower body movement skills are very noticeable on tape. Willing blocker and technically sound, Ragsdale is a very good blocker that understands his responsibilities and uses leverage to his advantage. He is instinctive attacking the seam vs zone coverage and has a good feel in scramble drill.

For one reason or another, this Mid-Tennessee tight end has yet to see his recruitment take off and I’m not too sure as to why. Ragsdale does stand about 6’3 225 pounds, so he isn’t the ideal 6’5 240 plus pound tight end that is found everywhere on the next level but trust me, this guy can play and I feel his best football is still ahead of him. The immediate thing that stands out about Ragsdale is his willingness to block and get physical in the line of scrimmage. Ragsdale could be the best blocking tight end from our #TN2024 class. This Nashville area tight end isn’t just a blocker, Ragsdale is an athletic pass catcher as well who shows upside to develop even further in this area. He provides a nice target for his quarterback then runs well after the catch, which tells me Ragsdale could flex out wide if needed. There is a lot of strong value here with this MBA offensive talent and someone that will make your team better both on and off the field.

Ragsdale is one of the best under the radar tight end talents we have in our senior class and someone that could boost his stock even further after a strong summer, competing at college camps. This Nashville area prospect is possibly the best blocking tight end in this class but also someone that has tremendous pass catching upside as well. Ragsdale moves very well off the line, getting into open space and providing his quarterback with a strong target. Right now, Ragsdale is more of an intermediate threat but has the potential to be a vertical threat. His blocking is what stands out right now and what will force college coaches to offer this guy sooner than later.
