Fiacco made the transfer over to Nogales this off-season and he is a high motor interior rusher that wins with leverage, initial first step quickness and a variety of pass rush moves in his toolbox. He snaps out quickly, shows good bend for the interior and is heavy handed with a good inside punch, quick lockout and shows he can collapse the pocket quickly, take on pullers/double teams and eats up space in the middle. The 3-star prospect is a true nose at the next level and holds offers from New Mexico, SDSU and Western Michigan.

Fiacco is strong and explosive for a guy with his size and can be violent with his hands. He took reps against the young offensive linemen mostly but he proved that the Prep Redzone event last year that he isn’t afraid of competing against older and better players.

He transferred to San Juan Hills from Santa Margarita mid season as a freshman and this will be a big sophomore season for Fiacco.

Fiacco competed at a PRZ Showcase last spring as an eighth grader and took home MVP honors.

I am interested to see how he looks after another year in the weight room. He is an interior defensive lineman who could take home MVP honors again.

Fiacco was one of two eighth graders to earn MVP honors on Sunday. He drew positive reactions from the coaches during the one-on-one period.

He won a lot of reps against older offensive linemen due to his quick hands and club move.

His athleticism and movement will improve as he gets older, but he is advanced for an eighth grader and I liked that he didn’t back down against older and bigger competition.
