Van Meter rocketed all the way to the state championship game this past November. The Bulldogs received contributions from up and down the roster. Becker was one of the underclassmen that delivered when called upon and gives the program hope that the good times will keep on rolling in 2026. The sophomore caught four passes for 66 yards and a touchdown. He also chipped in two tackles, one of which was a solo stop. We can witness how Becker gets the job done when viewing his 10th-grade highlight video. He’s a handful in the slot as a receiver that gets off of the line fast, moves quickly and smoothly in and out of his breaks, and speeds through defenders in a hurry. Becker can makes plays in traffic thanks to concentration and proper pass-catching technique. His actions and hip movement also would play well at cornerback and in the return game. In a receiver room hit hard by graduation, Becker has a chance to move up and break out this coming campaign.
