About Blake

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am someone who masters the offense and studies to fully understand the defense that we are playing so that I have the ability to read and make smart reads in the pocket. Running up tempo and controlled while keeping my team mates focused and centered on executing our plays. Being accurate, smart, and tactical with my decisions.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am optimistic, positive and I learn from my mistakes. I work hard, am disciplined, always seeking feedback and I am able to rebound quickly from a bad play and keep focused on moving forward. I am a dependable leader who is confident and always wanting to be a great supportive teammate.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Involved in my Church, actively involved with HUGS for Childhood Cancer, visit children's hospitals and volunteer with terminally ill kids.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a servant leader is something I have learned from being a part of multiple teams, as well as my church and community service activities. I regularly read and one of my favorite books is Touchdown Alexander by Shaun Alexander. My faith is important to me and I want to be a positive example to others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced a few challenges such as moving multiple times and being a part of different teams where I had to come in and prove myself and earn my teammates trust.

What type of college are you looking for?

A program that has high ideals and standards in both sports and academics. One that has a tradition of excellence in developing me as a player and person. A proven track record of success.
