About Bishop

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as aggressive and physical.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality is hard working, coachable, resilient, and a good teammate!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I received an award from my Spanish teacher last year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Skills that I have developed include working with others for the betterment of others -as I volunteer with little kids camp and also I’m in my second year of assisting coaching a little league football team. I am working on developing my leadership skills by being a good example for my team on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge that I have faced is my father lost his job not too long ago and he was out of work for 16 months. During that time I watched him try to get a job only to be told no over and over again as well as I watch my mother work three jobs to try to make ends meet. We learned how to do things differently as a family and we pulled together. It also allowed me to understand how blessed I am.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will help me be successful in the classroom and on the field. I would also like a college that would help me to build lifelong relationships with the people I surround myself with.
