stepped in at center and handled himself well throughout 1-on-1s, which isn’t easy at this stage. He played with good control, consistently keeping his hands tight and inside to stay connected through contact. He’s a strong young lineman who showed the ability to anchor and absorb the rush without giving up much ground. His feet were solid with enough lateral quickness to stay in front, and he maintained good pad level and leverage across reps. Fields looks comfortable in the middle and has the traits to grow into a steady, multi-year starter at the high school level.
