I’ll be honest; I wasn’t very high on Ben during the last update. After watching his Senior tape, I understand the D3 attention.

Ben is a very versatile player on offense. Although a bit inconsistent, Ben can run solid routes (good comebacks, OK slants, crossers) and earn yards after catch. At 0:38, I like how Ben shakes off the tackle and earns a few extra yards. At 0:26, he runs the same route and, this time, showcases some athleticism. Finally, at 1:40, Ben does a good job of earning positive yardage on the handoff. Solid vision and enough athleticism to evade two tackles.

In college, Ben projects as a great special teamer or slot WR. Assuming he works his tail off to develop, Ben could be a phenomenal player in the MIAA!

Ben is mainly utilized as a return specialist and slot receiver. Returning kicks, Ben has great vision and good top speed. He was able to bring one to the house in an injury-shortened season.
At slot, Ben runs some very good-looking out/in/comeback routes. There are also a few instances of solid contested catching. Most notably, Ben has great vision when it comes to returning kicks and as a receiver. Though, I don’t think he has the athleticism to execute like he’d want to. I feel like the potential is there, but for now, Ben is an average athlete for his position with some promising traits. If he can show athletic improvement, he’ll be a phenomenal MIAA prospect.
