Recruitment Update Report:
As we dive into the spring recruitment season, it’s exciting to highlight notable progress from our standout players. One such Player, Ben, is currently gaining traction in his recruitment and has exciting opportunities on the table.
Ben recently reported that he has been actively communicating with several schools, with Cincinnati and Penn State at the forefront of his interests. Additionally, he’s garnering attention from Group of Five programs such as New Mexico. Since January 1, Ben has received numerous offers, including from UConn, Penn, Dartmouth, Colgate, Cornell, Monmouth, Stony Brook, and Fordham.
When discussing his experiences, Ben shared, “I need to visit more campuses to determine my favorites, but UConn, Penn, and Dartmouth stand out as schools I’ve had frequent contact with. I’ve already attended junior day events at Dartmouth and UConn, and spring visits are on the horizon. I’m excited about upcoming visits to New Mexico and Penn as well.”

In the latest New England region Prep Redzone rankings update on November 24, 2025, quarterback Ben Rolapp Ben Rolapp 6'1" | 208 lbs | QB Brunswick School | 2027 State New E climbed from #41 to #34 overall, solidifying his status as one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the 2027 class. Currently a standout at Brunswick School in Connecticut, he previously transferred from Darien High School for the fall 2025 season.
At 6’1″ and 208 pounds, Rolapp combines size with remarkable athleticism and skill, boasting three verbal offers from Liberty, Tulane, and the University of New Haven. His performance last season earned him a spot on the 2nd Team Connecticut All-State roster in 2024.

Ben is a dual threat QB that has a quick release and makes accurate throws. He can drive the ball downfield and also throws accurately to the boundary. He can put the ball on players quickly and shows good pocket presence. He can also make plays with his feet when the protection breaks down. He can also use his feet to get upfield to make plays, and can make the first tackler miss. Lots to see with this Brunswick transfer. He is a player to keep an eye on.

Ben is a dual threat playmaker that has good field vision and pocket presence. When running, he has a good burst and can get to the sticks quickly. He runs with a low pad level and is not looking to step out of bounds. He also has good throwing mechanics and can throw his receivers open. Ben’s toughness can be seen as he is tough to tackle, and is willing to go airborne to get the ball in the end zone. Lots of upside with this QB; I will be looking for him this summer.
