Representing Maple Grove, we have a budding mulit-sport standout coming up through the deep and talented rosters of Maple Grove’s football and basketball rosters. The #31 ranked sophomore in the PrepHoops 2028 Rankings has some significant JV stat-stuffing score lines from the winter, most of which were tweeted by our own Jared Martinson @JaredMartyMN. It’s tough to get playing time at these massive 6A juggernauts, and Banwart fell behind in the depth chart on the gridiron this past fall, recording no varsity stats for MG despite being rostered on varsity, according to MNFootballHub. Not a lot to work with right now, but given the size, budding experience with the powerhouse Crimson, and amount of talent the Maple Grove football and basketball teams are losing to graduation in 2026 and we have a vacuum of playing time that Banwart will be eager to fill.
