Axcel Bailey Axcel Bailey 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Overbrook | 2027 State NJ continues to prove he’s one of South Jersey’s most underrated offensive weapons. The junior followed up his breakout sophomore season with another strong campaign, rushing for 1,259 yards on 148 carries and 17 touchdowns. His blend of size, burst, and vision makes him a consistent home-run threat every time he touches the ball.

Bailey’s physical running style and ability to find daylight through traffic set him apart. He runs with patience, finishes through contact, and has the acceleration to pull away from defenders once he hits the open field. That balance of power and speed has now begun to catch the attention of college recruiters.

Recently, Bailey earned an offer from the University of Delaware, a program on the rise as it transitions to the FBS level. The offer reflects his growth and steady progression as one of the top running backs in the region. With his junior year production and upward trajectory, it’s only a matter of time before more Division I programs follow Delaware’s lead.
