Avery is such an incredible fit with Ferris State. Although he’s from a lesser-known school, Avery cuts through the noise and straight-up produces during the season. On tape, Avery is an incredibly strong offensive lineman. Time after time, Avery engages with a defender and bench-presses him into the grass. I absolutely love his mentality and effort- that will go a LONG way once he gets to Ferris State.

Although Avery is a super high-effort player, he does need to work on his all-around fundamentals. I have no doubt that he’s more polished after this offseason, but I still expect Avery to sit for a few seasons before producing in college. All in all, I love what Avery offers, and he has the size + upside to develop into a truly special college athlete.

Avery is one of the strongest offensive line prospects that you’ll come across. His highlight tape is chalk-filled with dominant run blocks. It’s two straight minutes of Avery bench-pressing his opposition and putting them in the dirt. That said, the tape isn’t very diverse. To counter that, I don’t think Ferris State would send out an offer without Avery performing well at a camp. So, I don’t have a ton to go off of, but looking at the tape, offers, and Twitter, it’s apparent that Avery is an extremely hard worker that belongs in the GLIAC.
