About Avery

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a player with quick passing, athletic scrambling, and pocket toughness with a tendency to process reads slowly in a schemed offense. I also have quick, sound release in a clean pocket but can use my strong arm and ability to throw on the move to make plays when outside. I am also a dual-threat quarterback, capable of extending plays.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a hard worker and eager to learn. I am a team player and want to do everything I can to help my teams be in the best position to win. I am very coachable and a great leader.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

N/A

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer at all the youth football camps in my area to help them get ready for the next level.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have had a broken wrist the first part of my junior season and if I have learned anything from it. It has taught me how to be more of a leader and not worry about things I don’t have control over. And how to be a coach on the sideline to help my team.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that will give me a great education and support my style of play at the next level.
