To wrap up my 2025 6A All-State Defense, I have Avant Baxter Avant Baxter 6'2" | 195 lbs | ATH Henderson County | 2026 KY . Baxter lined up at safety this season where he was very reliable in coverage. He showed the ability to read routes then flow through the secondary to put himself in position to make a play. When the ball was thrown in his direction, he showed impressive ball skills, coming away with seven interceptions in 13 games (tied for 6A lead). He also recorded 21 tackles this season and played a key role on offense, catching a team-high 31 passes for 635 yards and seven touchdowns while also running the ball 33 times for 161 yards and two touchdowns. Avant doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who is deserving of an opportunity at the next level.
