About Austin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play fast, physical, and aggressive every snap. I’m explosive off the line, use my hands well, and take pride in chasing plays down from anywhere on the field. I bring energy and effort every down and try to set the tone for my defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’ve got a hardworking, disciplined mindset. I don’t take plays off and I’m always focused on getting better. Whether it’s training, film, or practice, I try to outwork everyone around me. I’m confident but coachable, and I love competition.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve been involved with school and community activities that focus on leadership and teamwork. I also help with team related events and volunteer work when I can.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Football has taught me leadership, discipline, and how to stay composed under pressure. I’ve learned how to push teammates and keep energy high, but also how to listen and lead by example. Off the field, I’ve learned responsibility and communication skills that carry into everything I do.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced setbacks with injuries and tough team losses, but they pushed me to work harder and build mental toughness. Every challenge has made me more focused and more motivated to improve as both a player and a person.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a strong football culture, good coaching, local, and a program that values player development. Academically, I want a school that will prepare me for success after football, and a place where I can grow as both an athlete and a person.
