Ariola is a super shifty back, patient behind his blockers, is able to squeeze through tiny spaces. He’s twitched up with breakaway speed to boot. He’s got the ability to break arm tackles but can also run circles around defenders. In my opinion, his biggest area of improvement will be in picking up blockers at his smaller stature. I’d love to see him grow another inch or two and maintain his twitch. He’s comfortable catching the ball out of the backfield, but could expand his route tree a bit. With that-he should be a top New York running back target for colleges.

Austin Ariola Austin Ariola 5'9" | 180 lbs | RB CBA-Syracuse | 2027 State NY was a shifty runner that was able to get moving down the field with the best of them at Christian Brother Academy High School. Formerly, his combination of contact balance and burst was evident on film, allowing him to stay upright through traffic and explode into open space. Ariola is a huge home run threat that can outrun the entire defense in the second level. Equally important, field vision to identify open holes and cut into the smallest lane for extra yardage was huge. Being a receiving threat out of the backfield on swing passes and having that ability in space was key.

Ariola, is one of the top RB’s in the state in the 2027 class, but in a loaded RB class, his name is barely heard. The Junior, is having a quiet season, while helping the Brothers stay undefeated.

Ariola, is a quick small back, who has excellent vision. He can see downfield, and hit the gaps. he has excellent speed, with quick acceleration. He has excellent footwork, and a good change of direction, he is hard to tackle, and can break off a big gain at any time.

A shifty RB that was able to mix in power well for every run action that he displays on the football field. Straightaway, the ability to be a threat in the passing game coming out of the backfield in screens plus more stood out. Arola does have the ability to make one cut juke moves from the inside A gap to the outside in a short amount of time. Thereupon, breaking through the second and third levels of the defense with acceleration would show. Can break free for large amounts of gains and long TDs. In the event that contact is made, he does have solid balance and strength to stay on his feet to keep moving forward.
