Asim White Asim White 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB Dothan | 2025 State AL is a dynamic defensive back out of Dothan that has developed into a lockdown defender over the last few seasons. White is a versatile safety that provides great coverage and run support for his defense- he is terrific at reading and reacting to plays, and frequently can capitalize because of it. White is talented in coverage- he’s super quick on his feet, does a great job of not getting beat over the top, and consistently uses his hands to jar the ball free. White is also reliable against the run- he doesn’t shy away from contact, is a solid tackler, and plays with a ton of pursuit. All of these skills showed up on tape last season as White ended the year with 63 total tackles (51 solo, 7 for loss) and 5 pass breakups. White had a big year last fall and is looking to follow it up with his senior season- be sure to keep an eye on him and Dothan’s defense!
