About Ashton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Smart, aggressive, flexible play makes me an all-around threat. My versatility at positions allows me to be both an offensive and defensive key player. From QB to SS to long-snapper, I understaand the game and what needs to be done to execute plays.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a listener first and foremost. Positive feedback to my players on the field to motivate them to make plays. You only have to tell me once and I will get it done.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Not at this time

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I run my own lawn care business with a close friend. This allows me to get into the community to help those in need and meet more people outside of school. My role as starting QB for the past two years has shapened my skills as a communitcator and leader.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I started playing in 7th grade, I was smaller than a lot of players. At 120 pounds I knew that learning proper technique would be critical to get playing time and stay healthy. After my 8th grade year I commited to eating and working out. I wanted to play, not watch from the sideline in high school. I earned my varsity letter freshman year and have been a starter since my sophomore year.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that fits my workout and nutritional goals. I need a program to help me continue to grow mentally and physically while educating my through interactive projects in a social platform. I like to learn with others and not just from a book.
