is a classic dual-threat quarterback. He has the size (6’3″) and athleticism that allow him to excel. He is outstanding on zone read run plays. His ability to make the proper read and run the ball is good. He is a physical runner, but also someone who has quickness and burst. Then, as a thrower in the pocket, he has a strong arm. He also knows how to put the perfect amount of touch on the ball when he throws it. Jones is a talented quarterback who is in line for a huge Senior season.

- A new name added to our lists. 6’3, 205 pounds. Is a basketball player at Lampeter-Strasburg, 3.5 GPA. PR #s in the weight room are impressive as a current junior.
- Jones has ample tape up on Hudl for coaches recruiting the area to tap into. A first-three and two single-game cut-ups are all ready to go, as early as a day ago. First two reps on tape give you an idea of the type of QB prospect we have in Jones. Each reps show Jones comfortable in ten personnel sets, comfortable throwing outside the tackle box, and hitting players 35+ yards downfield, both on time and in impromtu situations. Mobile beyond what his measurables and build might suggest. Improvisational skills are a plus, keen awareness of his targets when plays break down. Witnessed pulling zone-reads for huge gains. Big arm forces DBs to stay honest, a tough player to game plan against. Not just a spread offense operator, L-S has Jones working play action sets, some bootleg/flood sets, too. Well-rounded player, excited to see his full tape in the coming months.

was an unknown player until Friday night when he started for Lampeter-Strasburg. In his first start as a quarterback, he threw for three touchdowns and ran for another to help LS beat Solanco in a wild 45-44 win. He has a great frame (6’3″) and is a classic dual-threat quarterback for Lampeter-Strasburg. He helped them win a great game against Solanco in overtime. I expect Jones to maintain a high level of play this season. For his success against Solanco, he earns a helmet sticker from me.
