A red-zone nightmare for defenders, Carter hauled 23 receptions for 365 yards, averaging 15.9 yards per catch with seven TDs. He delivered a standout performance against Longmont, snagging six catches for 155 yards and three TDs. He was not just a receiving threat; he also rushed for 137 yards on 31 carries and added another touchdown to his resume.
Carter is one of the most versatile offensive weapons in 2026. His ability to impact the game as a passer, rusher, and receiver makes him a true Swiss Army knife. Carter threw for 559 yards, rushed for 137, and caught 23 passes for 365 yards, making plays in every facet of the offense. His skill set allows his team to use him in creative ways, whether rolling out to throw, running an option, or catching passes in space. While Carter’s dual threat ability is impressive, he will need to cut down on turnovers after throwing five interceptions against just five passing touchdowns. If he can improve his passing efficiency and continue refining his role, he could have a breakout season.
After making a name for himself as an explosive receiver last season, Carter is looking to take over as the full time QB. Carter’s versatility stood out last year being able to impact the passing game as well as punching it in on the ground. His athleticism and football IQ will make him a need to know name moving forward. Expect Carter to be a game-changer for his team this season.
