Young was one of the more intriguing athletic profiles among the defensive linemen at the camp. His extreme quick-twitch ability stood out immediately, especially for a player of his size, allowing him to consistently stress blockers with his first step.

His hand work was smooth and efficient, showing an understanding of how to keep himself clean through the rep and avoid getting stuck on blocks. With his combination of explosion, hand usage, and natural athleticism, Young projects as a high-upside defensive lineman whose stock is clearly trending upward.
