Fordham, John Hopkins, Wesleyan, and Washington U of St. Louis have extended offers to the underrated lineman out of Scranton Prep Anthony Nicotera Anthony Nicotera 6'1" | 270 lbs | OL Scranton Prep | 2023 State PA . Nicotera’s 6-game tape has been put under the microscope. 6’1, 275, efforts are best seen when in the interior of the trenches. Can long snap. Excellent weight room numbers, especially lower body strength numbers. Game translates to either guard position. At DT, Nicotera can stand up double teams or peel through them to cause penetration. Solid movement skills to get out in front of the play at guard, he’s picking apart LBers and DBs often because of this. Can align inside or outside the A-gaps. Love his motor and effort down the line. Nicotera doesn’t always scream into the backfield, he does a hell of a job owning his gap no matter what side of the ball he’s on. Gap control and brains are what you’re going to get from Nicotera, that’s the floor he provides. I have a feeling he’s going to be a better college player than a high school prospect.
