Corner with good size and plus athleticism at 6’1″.  Really like the footwork running with receivers on deep routes and adjusting to their routes. Makes plays on the ball in the air getting his arm in front of the receiver. High level instincts on the perimeter changing directions and knocking down passes.  Can break up passes downfield recovering with his speed when the receiver does get a step on him.  Tackles well in space.  Fluid athlete that consistently bats down passes with his length.

Currently checking in at 6001 178, Carter has lots of room for growth. The way he plays is physical in nature, and is able to make lots of plays on the ball using his length. Great effort and high levels of competitiveness show up in the one on one scenario. Carter looks like a secondary prospect with position versatility that could project at corner or safety based on program specific defensive scheme or need.
