Seeing Linebacker prospects play in person is VERY hit or miss. If I’ve learned one thing working this job, it’s that you can’t evaluate linebackers behind a computer screen.

When I saw Ansel play against Southgate Anderson, he was right on-par with his film. At his best, Ansel anticipates and attacks run plays. There are several instances where he’s able to shoot a gap and earn a quick tackle / TFL, but there are just as many where Ansel takes a bad angle or reads the play incorrectly. Great effort- I love that Ansel is a passionate football player and he’s a Division 3 prospect in my book.
