Instinctive, hard-nosed, and versatile, Price is a safety who can do it all for the Tigers. He’s ready and willing in run support, he’s athletic and his route recognition is good when he’s playing from up top.. He can play either safety position and even has made some plays at backer. He works well laterally and works good pursuit angles on tackles which shows he can be in the box. He is also an exceptional wrestler and often shows that grappling ability and strength when attacking blockers and ball carriers. His coverage ability is adequate allowing him to be hip to hip with slot receivers and bigger tight ends. While he looks the part of a box safety, he can very well play deep or star/Nickel type hybrid at the next level. All in all, Price is a playmaker who the Tigers rely on to be all over the field. He will continue to operate as an army swiss knife for them and looks to lead the Valley Defense this fall.
