About Andrew

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with control and power. I focus on clean technique in pass protection and keeping defenders off balance. In the run game, I drive my blocks and stay low to create lanes. I’m disciplined, physical, and always play through the whistle.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m competitive and focused on constant improvement. I take pride in being reliable, someone coaches and teammates can count on every snap. I stay calm under pressure and always put the team first.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a recipient of the Silver Medal Congressional Award. In addition, I have received varsity letters in track & field, and I have played rugby and ice hockey in High School.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have over 200 hours of community service and throughout them have developed a strong sense of leadership and responsibility. I was captain of the Freshman Rugby team at Fairfield Prep, and I was a game captain for football there, as well.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I broke my arm twice before the start of high school but I continued to persevere and became better because of it. In high school, I broke my hand playing Rugby and missed just 6 weeks and came back to finish the season and was elevated to the JV team, where we became state champions.
