About Andrew

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a disruptive pass rusher who excels at setting the edge and consistently getting into the backfield. I’m also very quick off the ball. I have very very quick and good feet. I force several hurried throws/turnovers. Lastly I love setting the tone on the line of scrimmage having control of it too.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a very good pursuit of the ball. I also give constant pressure to the quarterback. I have Relentless effort. Lastly I think of every play as my last so I play my butt off.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Leadership council for football Active in church related activities

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m a great leader. I’m wonderful at communicating with people. I try to bring out the positive in others and situation. Empowering my teammates with joy, focus, trust, and respect is how I approach every interaction. I have participated in service projects with my church, such as ringing the Salvation Army bell at Christmas. Engaging with others with care and kindness is who I am.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I over came a non displaced distal femur fracture my sophomore year of basketball.

What type of college are you looking for?

Quality Education, A college where the staff actually engage with you. A college that I feel like is home and I can be myself.

Andrew was an Outstater that I didn’t have on my radar before Saturday, but he made an impression in the live eval I got last Saturday. Not only do I like the speed of his first step, but for 6’0 245 pounds I liked even more with the length of strides that Andrew carries getting downhill to the ball carrier. He has hammering hands that waste no time to get leverage and as a productive run-stopper you’ll see on tape, his pull off surely tell you there’s more game-speed to this young man that what you can evaluate from some of his testing numbers. The position fit at defensive tackle at the next-level looks like the move for college coaches at the next-level in my eyes for Andrew.
