Anderson Owens Anderson Owens 6'0" | 220 lbs | TE Scott County | 2027 State KY is a great route-runner from the tight end position. Owens is explosive out of his stance and makes hard cuts to create separation from his defender while on his route. He’s demonstrated an ability to haul in contested catches and catch the ball in stride. However, his blocking abilities were what impressed me most. His explosiveness out of his stance helps him close gaps early. However, he’s also reliable to provide combo blocks and quickly advance to the second level after the snap. Owens also has a strong lower body, which bodes well when smaller defenders in the secondary try to bring him down in the open field.
