Amir was a standout performer at DB for SMR all season long in 2024. He has twitch, burst and speed to go along with exceptional ball skills. Able to play any of the CB spots, whether in the slot/nickel, field or boundary corner – he can make plays from all over the field. He shows best in zone coverage where he can use his quick reactions to see & break on the ball, while also having quick twitch hips to turn and run with the receiver when needed. A physical player as well, don’t think just because he isn’t the biggest player he wont throw his body into a tackle. Amir routinely comes up to support the run and fills the alley. With his explosiveness and quickness I like Amir best as a slot CB, but expect him to continue to make plays from any spot on the field in 2025.
