The patient, smart, and sticky CB from Aquinas Institute is Amere Brewer Amere Brewer 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB/WR The Aquinas Institute | 2026 State NY who knows how to attack the football and get after the opponent. Brewer is entering his senior season looking to make a huge splash coming off an already impressive campaign allowing 0 TDs. The 5’10” CB excels at being able to track the football down the field, stays within grasps of WRs because of his deep speed, and knows how to turn at the right times to make a play on the football. When diagnosing that a play was a run or a screen pass, Brewer does a great job at flying up the field to make a tackle on the ball carrier. This is a CB that played in a lot of off zone coverage, but he was able to mix in some man-to-man reps in goal line situations. For the size that Brewer has, his play strength comes off very aggressively and was able to make impactful hits on WRs. This is a CB that takes good pursuit angles in both the run and pass. I expect Brewer’s coverage ability and confidence to improve even more this next year.
