Al Ani is a versatile receiver for the Darby Panthers. The rising junior is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. As a route runner he has loose hips and is able to break off his routes with ease. Ameer is a patient route runner who displays a good feel for leverage and understanding how to find space in zones. Once he gets the ball in his hands, he’s sudden and explosive showing the ability to make guys miss in the open field. Ani has the athletic traits, where I’m looking to see him continue to grow is in his strength and his body development. Added thickness and strength will aid in blocking and allow him to be a more physical presence with the ball in his hands.
