About Alexander

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

2nd Team All Mt. Hood Conference at Right Guard. Moving to LT for Junior year. Currently a varsity starter at Center. Played Right Guard Fr and Soph year. As an offensive lineman, my style is aggressive and punishing. I take pride in the technique I have developed since I was a 3/4. I am equally skilled at pass protection and run blocking, and I am able to play all postions on the line.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I go as hard as I can to the whistle and sometimes frustrate my opponent. I enjoy contact and look forward to each rep. I strive to always keep my head up and stay determined, even if I lose a rep. I train very hard in the offseason so I can dominate the 4th quarter.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I do a small amount of 5v5 lineman training and competitions with EForce and B12, and I also play on multiple club/national teams for lacrosse. I am in my school jazz band where I play the bass as well, and I have recieved multiple all-state nominations for the bass.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I try to be a good team leader, but most of the time I find that I am really good at helping people in an individual setting. Whether it be helping one of my teamates who doesn't understand the play, or helping a friend with his math homework, I see myself as a good teacher. I also would say that I give postive criticism and encourage my teamates

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A significant challenge I have faced was during the summer after 8th grade. Only a week before my first highschool summer training started, I sprained my ankle and wasn't able to train until about the last two to three weeks. This set me back a ton and I ended up being stuck on the freshman team. But throughout the season, I was able to prove myself and made the varsity roster by playoffs

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a great football program but is also a highly academic school. Since I take much pride in my grades and school, I really want to get into a school that is highly praised for its academics. It doesn't matter as much but I still want to play bass in college so I would want to be able to play in a jazz band.

He brings a rare combination of size, balance, and athleticism, showing excellent movement when pulling and the ability to finish blocks at the second level. His strong hands, polished footwork, and physicality in the trenches make him a problem for defenders in both the run and pass game. With his current trajectory, Mishkin has a legitimate chance to become the top offensive lineman in Oregon’s 2027 class.
