About Aken

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm the aggressive kind of player. I talk with my pads, not my mouth. I stay disciplined and help motivate my teammates to keep going, even if we are losing by 20. Might not be a loud leader, but I will be working on it with the years to come.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is relentless; I won't stop until the game's over, even if we lose, I take the grudge against the next team 2x more than the last.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Reliable, Hardworking on and off the field, Relentless, Great Team Chemistry, and helping others in need or just helping in general.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college with a great campus, and a community that offers a great program for my sport and majors, which are Sports Management, Coaching, or Athletic Training

We don’t have a lot to go on when evaluating Marieu beyond a video of clips from a game against Woodbury Central this fall. The tape is interesting and leaves us looking forward to seeing more. Marieu is a disrupter coming off of the edge. His get-off puts tackles on their heels and makes it tough for them to recover. If the blocker does manage to get in front of him, Marieu shows strength and power while bull-rushing to win the rep. If you’re looking for a breakout candidate for 2026, Marieu would be a solid choice.
