AJ has an opportunity to make his name known this weekend. So far this season, AJ has been a solid run-stopping defensive tackle.
His midseason highlights show a good variety of skills. First off, AJ is able to hold his ground very well. Once the offensive lineman engages, AJ does so well in anchoring and then attempting to shed the block. At other times, AJ does well avoiding zone blocks, slipping through linemen, and finding his way into the backfield.
ND Prep has a great offensive line and a phenomenal run game led by Billy, who I wrote about above. Needless to say, I am excited to see how AJ and the Armada defense attack the ND Prep offense.
