Last season, he was more of a game-manager type of quarterback. He was a sophomore quarterback who had senior playmakers around him. This season, he is counted on to be the key playmaker. Even in a loss, Baez was spectacular. He had two touchdown passes and threw the ball well all night. He has improved his mechanics and footwork a ton from last season. He also looks stronger. He is also a good runner. He is extremely difficult to tackle in the open field. Baez is in line for a huge season this year.
