Williams appears ready to step in line at QB for Callaway, and they shouldn’t skip a beat. He is a smaller prospect, hovering around 5’10. but compensates with the rest of the game. He has a really good feel for pressure, both in and around the pocket, which allows him to extend plays and evade pressure when you factor in his athleticism. He has quick, clean mechanics and better arm strength than you’d think, quickly putting the ball on receivers in the middle of the field. His size might make some college coaches overlook, but he operates well and is a capable arm, and also has two years to continue developing.
