Most likely my alma mater’s best player last season, Batz-Rogers finished his senior season with 21 tackles, 7 PBUs, and 3 INTs plus a TFL, a FF, and a defensive TD despite offenses staying away from his side of the field in the passing game. He’s got smooth footwork, is comfortable when the ball is in the air, and made some pretty interceptions this fall reading route combinations and generally being a ballhawk when the ball is in the air. He’s also consistent at coming down with the ball as a WR, but I think CB is where he future lies best thanks to his COD and ball skills. Batz-Rogers has visited Augsburg and UW-Stout this fall and also was offered a roster spot by St. John’s. Go Lakers, forever!
