About Addison

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

When things don't go my way, I focus on the next play and continue working hard. I am resilient. If my teammates make a bad play, I go over to them and tell them to keep their head up and to have the "next play mentality." I believe that if I put my faith in Jesus, He will put me in the right place at the right time.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I attend my church youth group every week and go on retreats with them a couple of times a year. I also started a bible study with a group of friends. Sometimes we meet at a friend's house, but most of the time we read and talk on the phone in a group-chat or one on one. I was on Honor Role for Colorado High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) the first quarter of this year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

For two years, at my church, I volunteered to help with Vacation Bible School. I am the one who initiates bible studies with my friends. If my friends are making bad decisions, I talk to them about it and use scripture to tell them why it is wrong. I also make videos on tic toc to share my faith.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A challenge I've faced is when I work with players who are better than me, I tend to think less of myself. I have overcome this challenge by realizing that I have room for improvement and I can always improve by looking at my weaknesses and working on them.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to play Division 1.

Armonda backed up his film with solid testing numbers and carried that momentum into individual drills and one on one. As he continues to add strength and polish to his overall game, Armonda profiles as an under the radar prospect who could see his stock continue to rise in the coming years.
