The 2028 athlete finished last fall as the team’s third-leading rusher with 205 yards and three touchdowns, with two seniors ahead of him, and added 27 tackles defensively, giving a glimpse of the all-around role he can fill. Woods has been involved since early in his high school career, and his three-sport background points to the type of natural athletic development coaches like to see in young players. With another offseason to mature physically and develop further, the expectation is that his touches and responsibilities will increase. If that opportunity materializes, Woods can turn those early flashes into a much more productive and impactful junior campaign.
