The receiving category was another tough battle and it has led to a split on the leaders. Our prediction to lead the Class in varsity receiving yards is Green Bay East WR Abrian Allen. The long, lean outside WR is coming off 554 yards to lead the way in 2025. Now he should step into the WR1 role for his offense. The big play threat should see an increase in targets and he has the talent to turn those chances into plenty of production. I won’t be surprised to see Abrian among the leaders in the category as a whole, not just his Class.

This is a very intriguing athlete at WR coming out of Green Bay East. Abrian has outstanding length on his frame already at 6’4″, but he has work to do to fill out that frame. Last I saw, Abrian was about 130 lbs. His weigh-in will be the first thing I’m interested in. From there I’m excited to watch him compete. Allen has shown he can stretch the field vertically on the varsity field. So I want to watch him compete with upperclassmen at DB. See how he attacks the ball and if he can create separation in multiple ways. I also want to see the numbers he puts up in the combines he attends. This summer could be a launching pad for Abrian going forward.

Abrian is one of the most intriguing athletes in this entire Class. He has elite length for the WR position at 6’4″. The 2029 needs time to fill out that frame, though, checking in at just 130 lbs. However, that light frame was far from limiting for him on Friday nights. The 2029 WR ended his first year with 26 receptions, 554 yards, and 4 TDs. The long striding weapon can cover ground in a hurry when attacking vertically. Abrian has a very strong ability for tracking the football on those deep passes, adjusting to the flight of the ball and then going on the attack to high point it where the DB can’t get it. The downfield threat has a lot of raw talent. Now it is time to pack on the muscle and develop the nuanced parts of the position.
