Kone is a huge OL at 6’6 he can do a lot of things. While he’s a natural guard, he has the ability to line up anywhere along the offensive line, giving his team valuable flexibility. He creates running lanes with his strength and technique, allowing the backs to get downhill, while also doing an excellent job protecting the interior and keeping pressure away from the quarterback. Kone is committed to Maryland.

Abdus is a highly intriguing offensive lineman with the physical tools and growing reputation to match his recruiting attention. He plays with a strong frame and natural power that shows up when he is driving defenders off the line of scrimmage in the run game. There is a clear aggressive edge to his play style as he looks to finish blocks and impose his will once he gains leverage.

What stands out most is his upside as a developing tackle with the ability to anchor against power and also work in space when pulling or climbing to the second level. He is still refining consistency in hand placement and footwork but the flashes are evident and the progression is trending in the right direction.

Kone was a bright spot for North Shore up front. A massive presence in the trenches, he displayed nimble feet and the ability to move defenders in space. His crushing blocks opened lanes throughout the game, showing why Kansas State, Sacramento State, Lamar, and Colorado have already offered.

An absolute monster on the right side of the line, Kone has the frame of a power 4 right tackle already. Though he still has some rawness to his game, there is no denying Abdus’ dynamic combination of pure strength and athleticism. He demonstrates the ability to pull in gap scheme runs with power and precision, putting linebackers into the ground. He also displays early signs of solid footwork, doing a good job of shuffling his feet while remaining engaged as a wall of the pocket. Expect the Mustangs’ anchor on the right side to take a massive leap in his junior campaign. Kone already holds offers from Kansas, Colorado, Sacramento State, and Lamar.

Abdus is an offensive lineman with excellent size and athleticism. He demonstrates quick feet in pass protection, sliding smoothly to mirror defenders and keep the pocket clean. In the run game, he generates movement at the point of attack with strong leverage and powerful hands. he also shows picking up stunts and blitzes effectively. As he continues to improve his overall strength and consistency, he projects as a high-upside lineman with the potential to become a cornerstone piece on the offensive line.

Kone is a dominant force with his size and strength. A true road grader in the run game, he showed off a stiff punch, nimble feet, and strong balance throughout the weekend. He consistently won his reps on both days and showed why he’s one of the top young offensive linemen in the state. Expect his recruitment to take off heading into the fall.
