Larry Blustein | Prep Redzone Scout
Entering his 55th year on the recruiting scene, Larry Blustein remains one of the true pioneers in high school and college recruiting – nationally and in the state of Florida where he has been at the center of camps, combines and 7-on-7 events far before anyone else in the country. Covering high schools throughout the country has given him the opportunity to attend some of the hotbeds for high school football talent, seeing future collegiate and NFL players from the very beginning. Starting Florida websites for Scout.com and Rivals.com along with a weekly radio show on Miami’s Sports Authority – WQAM (560 AM), he has established himself as someone that college coaches, players and media members use a credible source. In addition to football, he serves as a yearly “Voice of the Florida State High School Wrestling Tournament” and has covered all sports – boys and girls through his six decades. Best known for his work on the gridiron, he has covered collegiate award winners as well as NFL Hall of Famers from the start of their careers. Every summer he sees over 300 teams and 5,000 players from Key West to Pensacola on his famous “Off Season Talent Tour”. Larry attended North Miami High School, the University of Nevada Las Vegas and the University of Central Florida – and is a proud member of several sports Halls of Fame.
