Carson Mund | Prep Redzone Scout
I’ve spent the last 15 years coaching football throughout Utah, building programs and developing athletes at every level. I’ve had the opportunity to serve as head coach at West Jordan High School and Logan High School, and as an assistant coach at Box Elder, Logan, and Weber High Schools. Right now, I’m the Head Football Coach at Box Elder High School, where my focus is on developing not just skilled players, but young men who understand what it means to work hard, compete, and hold each other accountable. I’m hands-on with my team and staff, making sure we all buy into the same vision: play physical, stay disciplined, and represent the Bees with pride on and off the field. Coaching across the state for over a decade has given me a wide perspective, letting me adapt to different situations and help players grow in ways that really matter.
Beyond football, I teach Physical Education, Online Lab, and driver education in a rural community. My goal is to help students become safe, aware, and responsible, whether they’re behind the wheel or working on their fitness and learning goals. I want them to understand more than just the mechanics—I want them to understand decision-making, responsibility, and how to push themselves to improve. I’m also a husband and father, and I take pride in being present for my family, especially as I help guide my own son in sports and life. Coaching, teaching, and family are what drive me, and I’m committed to helping the people around me be the best they can be, on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
