Trevion Holmes is an ideal-sized athlete repping the 757 with an offer from the Colorado Buffs already. Since last highlighting Holmes as a Colt in October, he’s still developing into a beast primed for high school football. His running style can fit any system or scheme. Holmes is very mature, not just in build, but in running to daylight utilizing his speed and patience. He can push a pile or jump cut around one. Big plays are always on the table when he’s lined up in the backfield where I like him most, however, he is still an above average receiving threat that can flip the field and play a lock up defensive back as well. What can’t he do?

comes in at 5’9 165 pounds. He is an outstanding zone runner and runs with good patience inside the tackles. Owns the ability to make linebackers miss in the hole and keeps his legs moving on contact. I really like the change of pace before and after his moves to get his pads back parallel to the line of scrimmage for big gains. Also has the speed to make it a foot race once he breaks into the secondary.
