I try my best to not judge a book by its cover and kids like Jenner Smith Jenner Smith 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB/DB Mount Rainier | 2028 WA are exactly why. At first, and admittedly even a second look, there wasn’t much from an eye-test POV that jumped off the page at me. He’s undersized at this point and doesn’t appear to be developed physically. However, the kid is tough, he’s a proven winner and it clicks for him mentally. Smith is your prototypical field general who gets the ball out to his playmakers quickly and accurately, which allows them to do their thing. Once he matures and develops a bit more physically, we’ll have a better idea of his true football ceiling. May project to a defensive back or linebacker by the time all is said and done.
