He can lineup everywhere along the second level, applying pressure in the middle of the defense with closing speed, while able to play with heavy hands and set the edge on the outside and provide a nice pass rush when needed. He shows good open field speed and is a high IQ kid that can sniff out screens/draws quickly. He is explosive off the ball, can change direction quickly and redirects, while showing backside pursuit and tackling abilities in the open backfield. Playing both offensive line and defensive line, he is active in the run game from a 4i-5 tech and can also play inside when needed with some short area twitch and a quick use of hands at the POA. Medina should continue his dominating prep career this Fall, and checks in inside the top eight in total tackles through the first two weeks of the season. Look for Medina to find his home on the defensive side of the ball at the next level due to his length and size and should gather D-III interest over the next 18 months. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
