Preseason Top 2025 Under The Radar Linebackers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are some linebackers that we have not talked about yet that deserve some attention. I love to show love to guys that are not well known. These guys are looking forward to seeing their stock rise this season. Let's take a quick look.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Kam Evans</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A lot of times the smaller school kids are going to get overlooked. This is a guy that plays at a smaller school program that does not need to be overlooked. He is a beast that knows how to go out there and handle business. Evans is a very athletic linebacker who has some good size. He is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound that I think is going to be a perfect fit for a hybrid linebacker. Evans is known for doing great job in coverage. He is a beast that we need to continue to show love.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='920482' first='Quincy' last='Butts']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Butts has transferred from New Hope to Columbus. He is in the same county, but about fifteen minutes west over on 82. Butts is going to be making a lot of plays this season. He is a guy that a lot of coaches in his football career have been bragging about. Butts has great size and he also moves very well. I was able to see him for the first time at a Southern Elite Combine in Wesson, MS. He is definitely a guy to know.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Corxzavier Coleman</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Coleman is going to be one of the guys that will have at least 90 tackles. He is already a three-year-starter. Coleman is a guy that explodes to the football. Coleman is a guy that I think can be a safety on the next level. I do not think that he is going to have the size to be a linebacker on the next level. He definitely has the grit to be a college football player. He is a guy that we need to keep up with.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='920466' first='Malachi' last='Henderson']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Henderson is a 6-foot-1, 205-pound linebacker out of Oak Grove (Miss.) High School. Henderson is a violent tackler that knows how to find the football. He has a 10.3 broad jump and went he was at an LSU camp this past offseason; he ran a 4.5 in the 40-yard dash. Henderson is a very athletic guy that could possibly play safety on the next level. Henderson is a guy that is a gem that a lot of guys in southern Mississippi know. Most people across the nation do not know who he is. This is going to be the season that he wakes everyone up.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
