The long, lean DE checked in at 6’3″ 210 lbs, ran a really strong 4.72 40, had a 4.38 shuttle, and board jumped 9’1″. So you can check off the size/length and the athleticism boxes. The keys to his wins throughout the day were with that same speed, explosive burst, and ability to change his rush path. Cody can thrive in a pass rushing role while continuing to build his frame into more of a three down type of edge. Slater is a tough matchup that coaches need to get their eyes on.

The junior DE out of Janesville Parker dominated the trenches in Week 9. The 6’3″ and now 215 lbs DE lived in the backfield, throwing off timing and making plays of his own all night long. Cody did a fantastic job of finding the ball and pursuing it while not letting himself lose leverage or contain until he got to the ball to make the tackle. As a pass rusher, I liked the bend, hand use, and first step quickness that he plays with off the edge. The junior also has the ability to play with excellent lateral agility and body control to get around offensive linemen. Get this kid on your radars for camps this offseason and the 2025 season.
