The Winter and Springtime are when many players earn offers at camps, combines, and during in-school workouts frequented by college coaches. Below are some of the top players in Central Indiana that currently have no offers but could see that change this offseason.
[player_tooltip player_id="39073" first="Andrew" last="Page"]- OL- 6’4” 320- 2023- Noblesville
A big-bodied lineman out of Noblesville HS, Page burst on the scene as a sophomore earning All-State honors. Although Page traditionally lines up as a tackle and even tight end in Noblesville’s “jumbo” line formations, he projects best as a guard at the next level. He’s a nasty finisher in the run game, nimble at blocking in space, and even caught a few passes this past season. Don’t be surprised if Page ends up being one of the top offensive line recruits in the Midwest for the 2023 class.

A very productive back with over 3,500 yards and 30 TDs in his career. Price has a tremendous frame to work with, great elusiveness, and homerun speed. Running behind Notre Dame OL commit [player_tooltip player_id="39041" first="Joey" last="Tanona"], Price helped lead Zionsville to a class 5A State runner-up finish. A long strider that is hard to bring down, Price can also contribute as a receiver and blocker.
[player_tooltip player_id="39075" first="Brennan" last="Wooten"]- TE- 6’4” 235- 2023- Cathedral
With so much talent that comes through Cathedral HS, it can be hard to see the field as an underclassman, let alone be a major contributor. Wooten is already a 2-time letterman and just scratching the surface of his potential. He’s the total package that you look for in the position in both the run and pass game. He’s an advanced blocker inline with great size and strength, and a nightmare over the middle that runs over defenders. Wooten figures to be one of the top tight ends in the 2023 class and should end up being a national recruit.
[player_tooltip player_id="39029" first="Micah" last="Hauser"]- S/RB- 5’10” 180- 2022- Westfield
A 2-way player for class 6A runner-up Westfield, the question isn’t if he’s good enough to play at the next level, but what side of the ball? A devasting hitter for his size, Hauser totaled over 100 tackles from his safety position while becoming a 1k yard rusher with 7.6 ypc as a running back. A physical player with great quickness, he could also contribute in the return game at the next level. His older brother Koby was an Air Force football recruit.
Hayden Cate- OLB/LS- 6’2” 225- 2022- Carmel
Cate should take over a leadership role for a Carmel defense that is losing a lot of talent heading into the 2021 season. An All-Conference player in 2020 primarily playing as an end in Carmel’s 3-4 defense, Cate projects best as an outside linebacker at the next level. He is very quick off the ball with a nice motor and ideal frame to keep adding weight. Additionally, long snapping could be in Cate’s future in college as well. His older brother Dominick is a lineman at the University of Colorado.
